Apple Arts Studios, a leading motion capture studio in India, continues to push the boundaries of facial performance capture with a new test that applies a single captured facial animation to multiple MetaHuman characters inside Unreal Engine.
This test showcases the flexibility, consistency, and scalability of our facial mocap pipeline, optimized for game developers, filmmakers, and studios seeking high-quality cinematic motion capture.
From Real Faces to Digital Souls
We captured a live actor’s facial performance using our in-house iPhone HMC rig at 60fps, and post-processed the data in Unreal Engine. This allowed us to create real-time-ready facial animations for MetaHuman characters, tested across both male and female avatars.


Actor-to-Avatar Accuracy
Using our Vicon Vero 2.2 motion capture system, we ensure that each captured frame is accurate and animation-ready. The side-by-side test between the actor and MetaHuman confirms seamless emotion transfer.

Scalable MetaHuman Animation with One Capture
We retargeted the same performance across multiple MetaHuman characters, both male and female. This demo confirms the power of our facial motion capture studio in Hyderabad to deliver real-time motion capture solutions for complex productions.
