The past week at Apple Arts Studios has been nothing short of cinematic magic. We successfully wrapped a massive 7-day motion capture shoot with multiple actors, facial rigs, Unreal previsualization, and a dedicated international client team from PB Casting Studio. With over two months of planning, this project marked one of the biggest motion capture schedules since upgrading to our Vicon Motion Capture System.

It all began with PB Casting Studio prepping their cast during a roundtable discussion at our Hyderabad facility. The tone was set for a seamless performance-driven shoot.

Our team offered studio rental for rehearsal, allowing the clients to utilize the space efficiently for actor training and choreography setup before shoot days.

The shoot began with seven actors on Day 1 and Day 2, then gradually scaled down across the following days with two actors handling the final cinematic scenes. Our facial rigs (5 total) and Unreal Engine-based previsualization (20 MetaHuman characters) played a key role in real-time visualization.

Every day, we wrapped each shot only after the client’s live review and approval—ensuring smooth delivery and zero reshoots. There were no hardware breakdowns, no scheduling delays, and our minimal crew ensured max productivity.
